Criminal court case: CR2196-65,
THE STATE OF KANSAS vs THOMAS A PAPANIER
District Court, Sedgwick County, 18th Judicial District, 525 North Main, Wichita, KANSAS 67203, USA
Criminal court case: CR2287-65,
THE STATE OF KANSAS vs THOMAS A PAPANIER and WILLIAM L MATHIS Jr
District Court, Sedgwick County, 18th Judicial District, 525 North Main, Wichita, KANSAS 67203, USA
These court documents detail two separate instances of burglary, which were committed by Tom (aged 21), at the location of Dave Johnson Motors,
667 S.West Steet, Witchita, Kansas, on 19th June 1965, and at the location of Mr T's Appliances and TV Inc, 2829 North Broadway,
Wichita, Kansas, on 7th August 1965. In court, Tom pleaded GUILTY to both charges, and was sentenced to one 1-5 year prison sentence,
and one 5-10 year prison sentence, with both prison terms to be served concurrently. Tom NEVER went to prison for shooting two men,
as he claims in his testimony.
Tom Papania is now claiming that the reason there are no records of the shooting incident, is because the Judge offered Tom the choice
of either a job in the US military, or a jail term for the shooting incident, and when Tom chose the military option, the Judge then
destroyed the records of the shooting incident. How strange that a Judge would destroy the courtroom records for such a serious crime?
If you think it sounds ridiculous, well, you're not alone!
Apparently, Tommy is now writing a book which explains everything, and yes, Tom will be SELLING the book to raise more money!
The simple reason there are NO courtroom records of Tom serving a prison term for shooting two men, is because it NEVER happened!
